I was born in Elko, Georgia in Houston County. I am the oldest of four sons to the parentage of Arthur and Favie Grace.
I am married to Betty Dixon Grace. We have been blessed with three children, Ginette Grace Trapp, Artha Gerald Grace (deceased) and Minister Reginald L. Grace (deceased). We have three grandchildren Artha Justin Grace, Renee Grace Trapp and Reginald Clayton Trapp.
My educational journey began in Perry, Georgia where I received my high school diploma. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Resource Management from Troy State University, a Masters of Divinity from Emmanuel Bible College and a Doctorate of Ministry and Pastoral Care from Georgia Bible College an affiliate of Minnesota Theological Seminary.
After graduation from high school I enlisted in the U.S. Army and served more than 22 years in the US Army retiring at the rank of major. The military afforded me the opportunity to serve in Nurnberg and Berlin, Germany, South Korea, Panama Canal Zone, Vietnam and many stateside assignments. During my military career in the Army, I earned numerous awards and decorations, certificates and letters of commendation.
I am pastor of New Beginning Church of Christ (NBCOC) in Milledgeville, Ga. Where our motto is:“Thoughts Become Things and Great people are ordinary people with an extraordinary amount of determination.”
In Fort Valley, GA, I serve as one of the Chaplains for the Peach County Sheriff’s Department. I am also president of the Fort Valley Ministerial Alliance and a member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity. In Fort Valley, Betty and I are very busy in the community.
